The Role:

Registered Nurses (Aged Care, Disability, Emergency, ICU, surgical and medical). We require professionals with proven client relationship experience, ideally in the disability sector, to join our expanding team, as Plan Managers.    You will work closely with NDIS participants, support coordinators, providers, support workers & allied health providers to ensure our participants receive personalised, consistent & professional advice.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Building & continuing established relationships with NDIS participants, Support Coordinators & NDIS Providers, including Local Area Coordinators
  • Responding to all enquiries, electronic & verbal, in a professional & efficient manner
  • Using our purpose built CRM to maintain accurate records of all enquiries & communication
  • Provide advice & guidance on the NDIS price guide to ensure our clients make informed choices & maximise their funding in accordance with their goals
  • Maintain current knowledge of the NDIS & plan management & ensure compliance with NDIS legislation
  • Deliver all advice in a personalised & empathetic manner to maximise client satisfaction & retention.

About You:

You will have strong experience in the delivery of customer-centred care.   A commitment to utilising AvidCare’s systems to achieve delivery in a timely & professional manner is critical.

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Prioritising a person-centred & positive outcome focused approach for all participant interactions

Full Job Description

We are an NDIS Provider in Orange, NSW.

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and friendly Registered & Enrolled Nurses to provide high quality care to our disabled clients.

This position is being offered as Casual. Applicants must be able to help out with relief work as needed to cover sick and holiday leave (in coordination with other nursing staff).

Essential Criteria:

  • Current RN registration with APHRA
  • Previous General Practice nursing experience in a Private Practice a must
  • Flexibility and commitment to assist with holiday/leave cover
  • An energetic, enthusiastic, friendly “can do” personality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience with Best Practice software
  • Chronic disease management experience
  • General Practice nursing experience

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Triage and patient assessment;
  • Clinical patient care incl. wound care, immunisation, ear syringing, assistance with minor surgical procedures;
  • Infection control; consumables ordering and stocking
  • Cold chain management
  • Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Best Practice software
  • Demonstrated patient focused approach in service provision
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
